The Zimriyah

On Sunday night, the whole camp came together for the Zimriyah, the campwide music festival. This year's theme was the 100th anniversary of Tel Aviv, so each aidah sang a song about Tel Aviv, in addition to their aidah song. The Zimriyah is the first chance in the summer for each aidah to really show off who they are to the rest of camp. Each aidah wears its own color, and when they sing their songs, they sing with all their heart and all their energy. The campers are proud to be part of their aidah, and at the Zimriyah they have the chance to make sure the whole camp knows.

Leah S. (Garinim): The Zimriyah was really fun because everyone could do their own songs for their aidah. We all got to dress up in our own colors by aidah and there were lights that represented our colors. It was a lot of fun.

Shira F. (Solelim): The Zimriyah was really fun. It was nice having the whole camp together.

Danny K. (Shoafim): The Zimriyah was awesome. We had a lot of fun as an aidah. We partied a lot and it was awesome.

Josh S. (Shoafim): The Zimriyah was really fun and there was a lot of spirit.

Aviva G (Bogrim): The Zimriyah was really fun. I liked listening to all the songs and the sign with the big Tel Aviv Centennial symbol on it was really pretty.

Ari V. (Bogrim): I thought the Zimriyah was awesome. It was so cool. I loved hearing the spirit of everybody. Everyone in my aidah came together and we sang our hearts out.

Steven S. (Bogrim): The Zimriyah was really, really fun. This is my first year here so it was kind of new to me, but it was fun doing it. It was awesome.

Ally R. (Machon): The Zimriyah was a lot of fun. It was a good time for the whole camp to come together and was a time when our whole aidah came together and united. It was a good bonding experience.

Jillian B. (Tikvah): The Zimriyah was fun. It was fun to hear all the different aidah songs and to see the whole camp together.
