Interior Work

Now that winter has arrived in the Northwoods, work is continuing inside the Chadar Ochel:

-Windows at the entrances to the dining halls are going in this week. The building will then be fully enclosed.

-Plumbing and electrical work continues inside the building.

-The fire suppression/sprinkler system is being installed this week.

-Insulation and drywall goes in starting next Monday.

-Once the drywall is complete, cedar paneling will be installed in the dining halls.

-A sound system is being installed for musical instrument accompaniment during singing after meals and for programming.

-The roof is complete, except for the flat area at the top, which will be finished next week.
