RISHON - New Campership Incentive Program for First-Time Campers
Camp Ramah in Wisconsin is delighted to announce the RISHON campership incentive program for first-time campers. RISHON, developed in collaboration with the National Ramah Commission and the Foundation for Jewish Camp (FJC)*, is designed to encourage new camper enrollment at Ramah. RISHON provides a $1,000 incentive grant to any eligible camper enrolling in Camp Ramah in Wisconsin for the first time, regardless of financial need. This year, the program will provide $750 incentive grants for 2009 RISHON recipients returning for a second summer.
To be eligible, this must be the child's first Jewish overnight camping experience (greater than three weeks) and the child must come from a community served by Ramah Wisconsin that does not offer first-year incentive grants in collaboration with FJC (see Campership Program of Chicago and Additional Campership Programs below).
For more information or to apply for the Rishon Incentive Grant, go to www.onehappycamper.org.
