Bogrim Play - Oliver
Thursday night Bogrim presented the musical "Oliver," and it sure was a unique performance. Somehow a bat got into the Bet Am and spent a good portion of the show flying around the front of the stage as it tried to find its way out. The audience members who were in the front row flinched every time it flew by, but the performers on stage didn't miss a beat! The chorus members also got a surprise as it unexpectedly started to pour while they were waiting outside the door to come on stage. They didn't seem fazed at all, just a little wet, and went on to perform a wonderful play!

Alex Freedman (Rosh Bogrim): The campers were wonderful. I lost my voice just from cheering them on. They worked so hard on the play for so many weeks and they really just came together and took ownership of it and they were really impressive. Tonight we had to deal with so many challenges that no one else has to deal with. There was a bat flying around the front of the stage for most of the show. Then it started raining in the middle of the show when half the chorus was outside waiting to be called in. So they got drenched, but they still came in and had a spectacular number. They overcame so many challenges, all with smiles on their faces. I'm so proud of them.

Rebecca F. (Bogrim): I think we did really well and I'm so excited that the play finally came together. We put in a whole month of hard work and I'm really excited about it.
Steven H. (Bogrim): We were awesome, uber-awesome!
Colin M. (Bogrim): We did amazing. It was one of the best Bogrim plays ever and we should do it every year.
Aaron F. (Bogrim): We did amazing. Our eidah came together as an eidah, as friends, and a community.
Hannah R. (Bogrim): We weren't quite ready last week, but this week we pulled it all together and put on an amazing show. Everyone who had the lead roles, and everyone who had smaller roles, really did an awesome job.
