The First Full Day of Camp

What a day!  The first full day of the summer is always exciting with campers learning about all the peulot (activities) that they can do during the summer.  From Hebrew and drama to art, woodworking, and sports, the campers were given lots of information with which to make their choices.  And it was a beautiful day at Camp Ramah.

 Aaron Z. (Shoafim): Today we did a lot of stuff.  We were trying out every activity, every tarbut.  I really liked playing Knockout [a basketball game].

 Jonathan W. (Shoafim):  I've had a lot of fun going around camp.  Just to be back at Ramah feels really great.

 Gabi C. (Garinim):  Today we had prayers and then had really good French Toast for breakfast.  My favorite thing was the chicken patties for lunch.

 Sophie C. (Garinim):  I love Garinim.  I love being in this cabin because my friends are there and I got to meet really neat people and lots of new friends.

 Sarah L. (Garinim):  My favorite thing today was going around and seeing everything you get to do at camp.  It all looks really fun.

 Elissa F. (Garinim):  My cabin is really great.  We met lots of new friends there.  Garinim is a really great eidah.  My favorite thing that we did today was snack.

 Alyssa B.  (Solelim):  One of my favorite things today was the free time and I also really liked doing nagarut [woodworking].

 Heidi B. (Solelim):  One of my favorite parts of today was visiting omanut [art] and nagarut [woodworking].

 Tali S. (Solelim):  My favorite parts of today were omanut, nagarut, and basketball.

 Jamie P. (Solelim):  My favorite part of today was basketball.  It was a lot of fun.

 Dana L. (Solelim):  I really liked going to omanut and nagarut today.

 Ali K. (Bogrim):  Today we did rotations and took a Hebrew test and had a lot of fun.

 Claire P. (Bogrim):  Today we did our rotations and learned about all the different peulot that we could do and we hung out with our friends.

 Breit K. (Bogrim):  We have a really good rosh, Alex Freedman.

 Debra L. (Machon):  Today we went through all the different tarbut and sports so we could pick which ones we want to do this summer.  I liked the sports ones the best because I really like sports.

 Danny W. (Machon):  Camp rocks!
