Garinim Voices

Garinim - for campers entering 5th grade - is already into full swing! This year's Garinimers bring energy, excitement, and fun to their aidah-mates from across the Midwest. Here are some of their favorite parts of camp thus far.

Max: I loved kikar dancing last Friday. I danced with my counselor Justin. I want to practice the dances so I can do them this Friday too!

Tamar: I like the food and the snacks, especially when we get to pick from so many options in the afternoons.

Hana: I love the people! I like hanging out with my counselors, the people in my cabin, and the new people I am meeting in my aidah. I know these are going to be great friends.

Mali: The music videos tonight were awesome! Our song was "Mashababa" and we wore pink outfits.

Avi: The lake is pretty fun. I enjoyed my swim test, though it started to rain in the middle.

Meital: A few nights ago, for peulat erev (night activity), we did a scavenger hunt around the camp. It was very fun! The camp is beautiful - I love walking around with my friends and exploring.

Abby: My Hebrew class seems like fun. It is cool that we have an Israeli teacher who teaches us Hebrew and all about Israel.
