Camp Ramah in Wisconsin Donations
Foundation for the Future Annual Fund
Few settings match the power of Camp Ramah in Wisconsin to transmit a love of Jewish life. Ramah is a place where Jewish lives are built through the development of lifelong friendships and shared experiences, where comfort and fluency with Judaism grow from one summer to the next.
Over 25% of the annual budget comes from contributions made by generous alumni and friends! This helps keep tuition fees down. With an unrestricted gift to the Foundation for the Future Annual Fund you can strengthen and enrich the Camp Ramah experience.
Scholarship Fund
Over 50% of our campers needed scholarship assistance in 2011 and we anticipate a similar demand for the 2012 season. With your help we can ensure that affordability is not an obstacle for access to the best in Jewish camping.
Tikvah Program
Contributions support our unique Tikvah programs for campers with learning and social difficulties as well as Tikvah scholarships.
Yud Gimmel Project
A project of our Bar and Bat Mitzvah age campers, contributions to the Yud Gimmel Project support the repair and maintenance of the camp Sifrei Torah, including the Czech Torah recovered after World War II on permanent loan to Camp Ramah in Wisconsin.
Endowment Corporation
The Camp Ramah in Wisconsin Endowment Corporation is comprised of over 50 funds permanently invested to provide income for continued support of the camp. Each year an allocation is made from the Endowment Corporation to fund Ramah's unique programming.
Legacy Society
You can help ensure the future of Camp Ramah in Wisconsin by including the camp in your estate plan. A legacy gift will support the camp in perpetuity and forever identify you as a devoted supporter.
Ramah Day Camp
Since 1999, Ramah Day Camp has served thousands of campers entering kindergarten-6th grade at its beautiful site in Wheeling, Illinois. Many day campers transition to Camp Ramah in Wisconsin when they are ready for the overnight camp experience. Gifts to the Ramah Day Camp help maintain the high quality programming and facilities for which the camp is known.
We value your involvement as a member of the Ramah community. Thanks to your generous help, over 800 young people are inspired by Camp Ramah in Wisconsin's unique program of excellence in experiential Jewish education each and every summer.
