Camp Ramah in Wisconsin Donations

There are a variety of ways in which you can support
Camp Ramah in Wisconsin!

Ramah's mission is to provide an outstanding experience for our young people combining the best of Jewish life with the joy of summer camp. We aim to provide innovative programs and high-quality facilities to enhance that mission. We all know that Ramah is a supportive community. Alumni and friends of the camp give whatever they can - work, wealth and wisdom - to ensure that the Camp Ramah experience is vibrant now and in the future.

Over 25% of the annual budgeted income of the camp does not come from camper fees!  It comes from the supportive community.  There are many ways to support Camp Ramah in Wisconsin's mission. Please consider a commitment to one or more of the following:

Friends of Ramah - supporting Camp Ramah in Wisconsin's annual programming

Kikar Society - gifts of $1,000 or more provide grants to staff members developing new and exciting camp programs during the off-season.

Scholarship Fund - with so many from our community impacted by financial difficulties there is a greater need for scholarship assistance. Contributions to the scholarship fund will help us include all children who hope to attend Ramah.

Milestone Campaign - gifts to the capital campaign are used to build new facilities like the Tikvah Vocational Center, staff housing and the new Dining Complex. Pledges may be paid over five years.

Tikvah Program - contributions support our unique Tikvah programs for campers with learning and social difficulties as well as Tikvah scholarships.

Endowment Corporation - The Camp Ramah in Wisconsin Endowment Corporation is comprised of funds permanently invested to provide income for continued support of the camp.  Each year an allocation is made from the Endowment Corporation to fund Ramah's unique programming.

*** New Debby Porten Memorial Staff Training Endowment - we are honored to announce the establishment of this new fund as a lasting tribute to Debby Porten and the staff training program she lovingly nurtured at Camp Ramah.

Dedicated Facilities - During the last fifteen years we have turned to our community of supporters and have raised nearly $10 million through the Renew the Vision and Milestone Campaigns to implement long-range plans for site refurbishing and program development.

Legacy Society - a new effort encouraging Ramahniks to include Camp Ramah in Wisconsin in their estate planning.

Ramah Day Camp - founded in 1999, Ramah Day Camp is a veritable Jewish playground and a premier setting for informal Jewish education.  Each summer the camp serves over 200 campers entering kindergarten through sixth grade from Chicago and its suburbs at its beautiful setting in Wheeling, Illinois.  Many day campers transition to Camp Ramah in Wisconsin when they are ready for the overnight camp experience.  Gifts to the Ramah Day Camp help maintain the high quality programming and facilities for which the camp is known.

We value your involvement as a member of the supportive Ramah community. Thanks to your generous help, over 750 children and young adults are inspired by Ramah Wisconsin's unique program of excellence in informal Jewish education each and every summer.
