Nivonim Letter

From Rosh Aidah Jeremy Fineberg:

This was a wonderful summer filled with both traditional Nivonim highlights as well as some special additions for 2014. They enjoyed a genuine leadership experience as CITs (Counselors in Training) eating meals with and planning peulot for their CIT cabins, had the ability to learn real skills in the various activity centers of camp through the internship program, and took advantage of an opportunity to create original theatre through the Nivonim English Play. In addition Nivonim heard from incredible speakers, such as Prof. Arnie Eisen, the Chancellor of JTS and Roey Gilad, the Israeli Consul General to the Midwest. Campers had meaningful conversations about topics ranging from God to freewill, from Operation Protective Edge to the Pew Study. All this occurred in between inter-aidah athletic events, games of battleball, vine competitions, and all-camp capture the flag. Most importantly Nivonim 2014 continued on their progress over the past 7 summers to create an inclusive community of dreamers, attuned to each others’ needs, and dedicated to strengthening the bonds of friendship and community of 54 individuals.

We wish your son/daughter a wonderful summer on Ramah Seminar and we look forward to welcoming him/her back as a staff member in 2016!
