The newly renovated Bet Am is the largest indoor programming space in camp. It has both a small and large theater space, indoor basketball court and a music room. We gather in the Bet Am for camp wide festivals and plays.
In Summer 2009 the new facility opened.
Kosher food is provided by our professional food service staff in three separate dining rooms.
One of the first questions people often ask about camp is, “How’s the food?” With an exciting menu developed by professional chefs, and a wide variety of healthy and flavorful meals, we can honestly say, “Excellent!”
Camp serves three meals a day, along with a morning and afternoon snack. Breakfast includes a breakfast bar with items such as fruit and yogurt, while lunch and dinner include a full salad bar. If that’s not enough, fresh fruit is available throughout the day in the refrigerated “Endless Fruit Bowl” located outside the business office near the center of camp. We also offer vegetarian options at meat meals and offer lactose-free and gluten-free options for those with special dietary needs.
The highlight of the week is our fabulous Shabbat dinner. With matzah ball soup and gefilte fish, freshly baked challah, and entrees such as brisket and roast turkey, it feels just like home.
Here you’ll have the opportunity to do painting, drawing, ceramics, woodworking, photography, sculpture, and batik.
The camper cabins have indoor bathrooms and showers.
